Better supply chains for books

Building better supply chains for books, The Book Chain Project, gives publishers the tools they need to make informed buying decisions, making sense of complex supply chains by collecting and analysing data, and connecting stakeholders along the chain. Publishers use this collective knowledge to make informed decisions for their own book production.

They help publishers unify their message to the supply chain, set consistent industry expectations, and foster collaboration. Their resources include guidance documents, webinars, tools, and annual events for the publishing industry. Their three core tools – Forest Sourcing, Chemical & Materials and Labor & Environment – address various sustainability topics relevant to the industry.

With a diverse, global membership, the goal was to update the site design while maintaining the established platform and structure. A straightforward and user-friendly online experience was crafted using bold typography and clean, simple layouts. An enhanced colour palette, along with icons, provides a clearer visual narrative for the main three tools.

BCP is participant led and facilitated by Carnstone Partners Limited, now part of SLR Consulting.

Site build by quiet science.
